Team Headlines
Over the Columbus Day Weekend, the U11 Boys
Lionville Kixx were crowned Champions of the Dillsburg Dual Shootout. Seeded in the Division 2, the Kixx displayed
excellent skill, discipline and intensity, and overcame an early round
0-2 loss to the excellent St. Joe’s Blue Angels club, only to meet and
beat them in the Tournament Championship game 3-1.
In addition to its spirited offense, stingy defense
& outstanding goaltending, it was the Kixx ability to win the
“50-50’s” and “control the midfield” that spearheaded their march to
the title. The Kixx Nation roared as the final whistle blew,
charged with the excitement of knowing they were Tournament Champions. The Kixx now look forward to carrying their
tournament intensity into the balance of their Delco League schedule
