Team Headlines
The Kixx kicked off the 2007/2008 season by being crowned the 2007 U-9
Division 2 Indoor League Champion as part of the Far Post indoor soccer
2nd session. Moving up to U-10, they carried that momentum into the
outdoor play, where they honed their skills in their first campaign at
the Twin Valley Tournament. The Kixx moved on to the KidsPeace Soccer
Invitational, and after completing the regulation play in undefeated
fashion, came up short in the final to finish in second place. The Kixx
then continued on to league play, joining the soccer clubs of
Methacton, Greater Chester Valley, Berks, Ridley, Springfield,
Haverford, Spirit United, West Mont and Rose Tree in the Delco League's
Second Division for the 2007 Fall Season.
The Kixx completed their tournament play amongst the 24 team U10 field
at the Dillsburg Dual Shootout over the Columbus Day Weekend. The boys
played their hearts out and battled to the end in the unseasonable
October heat, participated in 2 nail biting shootouts, and finished in
3rd place in the Division 2 bracket.
Thank you to the families and friends for cheering on the Kixx
throughout this season.
