Lionville Kixx Coaching Staff
The Kixx are coached by Head Coach John D'Angelo and Assistant Coach Steve Battisti. The Team Manager is Jaimy Beale.
John D'Angelo grew up in Warrington, where he played travel soccer for the Warrington Warriors from U9-U15. When not playing, John also coached 8 year old Intramural teams while in High School. When John's travel soccer days were over, he played for Central Bucks East High School. John was the LYA Intramural Soccer Commissioner from 2006-2008 and coached in the Kindergarten and 1st-3rd grade leagues while his son Joey went through the program. In 2008, John was elected to LYA's Board of Directors, holding the title of President of Travel Soccer. John's most recent success was coaching the U9 Boys Travel (Lionville Kixx) team to the Delco League Championship in the team's first year in existence.

Steve Battisti grew up in Swarthmore, and played on the Swarthmore travel team as a youth. He has had a lifelong enjoyment of soccer, playing through high school (at Strath Haven High School), and later playing for three years on club team Ematei Wangan in Japan. He still plays whenever his battered body allows. Steve has coached both of his kids in recreational youth soccer. The Kixx are the first travel team that he has coached.
