Lions Net Winning PAGS 2008 Season
The Lions have scored a winning 2008 PAGS season! Playing in the very tough and competitive PAGS Division 1 Man Utd bracket, the Lions fought their way to a record of 5 wins 3 losses and 1 tie. This is considered a premier level division and features some of the top U10 girl’s team in the Southeast Pennsylvania area. While getting off to a tough start with losses in their first two games, the girls never gave up and followed up with a 5 game unbeaten streak winning 5 of their last seven games, with one tie and a loss.
In their last game, playing against a very tough Westmont team away from home and in the rain, the Lions came from behind with the same grit and determination that showed their never-die attitude. Congratulations Lions on a fantastic season!
The team will be playing Winter indoor league during January and February. Since the Lions will be moving to 11v11 next season, the team is already beginning its search for talented players to add to the roster for 2009. Dillsburg Dual Shootout
Lions Win Dillsburg Dual Shootout Championship
The Lions competed at the Dillsburg Dual Shootout over the Columbus Day Weekend. The girls played their hearts out in the unseasonable October heat, participating in 3 nail biting shootouts, and came home with the CHAMPIONSHIP plaque.
