Storm 2010-2011 Season Recap
The Lionville Storm completed an excellent year of soccer with 22 wins, 10 ties and only 10 losses. In their third season together, the Storm played in 8 tournaments throughout the year. They were 3rd place finishers at Hockessin Spring Classic, Spirit United Kick-Off Classic, Westmont's Battle at the Hilltop and Primo Cup tournaments. They captured a second place finish at the inaugural Independence Cup Tournament and finished first place at the Robert Urban Nether Tournament. On Columbus Day weekend, The Storm were crowned Dillsburg Dual Shootout Champions!
This season, the Storm girls also had the opportunity to be player escorts and participate in the "High Five" lines for the Philadelphia Independence of the Women's Professional Soccer League. The Storm's summer was highlighted by playing in a scrimmage during halftime at one of the Independence games.
In the Fall PAGS season, the Storm finished 2nd Place in their division with a 7-1-1 record. The team amassed 25 goals, while only giving up 10. They played consistent soccer all year and improved each and every game. We are very proud of you, girls! Great Job!
