Storm Takes Second Place in the Independence Cup Tournament!

The Storm competed in the First Annual Independence Cup Tourney on July 3rd & 4th and were rewarded with a hard fought second place finish in the Championship Division.  Playing four regulation games in the blazing heat of the holiday weekend, the Storm had two convincing wins against the Anderson Monarchs and Kirkwood Soccer Academy.  The Storm posted two shut-out draws against Premier Soccer Academy and FC Phoenix of Baltimore.  The Storm was recognized for their outstanding effort later that day by being introduced on the field during halftime ceremonies of the Philadelphia Independence vs. Boston Breakers WPS game!  Congratulations girls!
