Storm Takes First Place at the Nether Providence

Storm closed out their 2009-2010 season with a first place finish at the Nether Providence Robert Urban Memorial Tournament on Saturday, April 3.  The Storm was short a couple of players due to spring break, yet played excellent team soccer to finish soccer year on a high note. They lost their first game of the day to the Haverford Flames 2-1.  The Storm controlled play, but couldn't find the back of the net!  In their next two games, the Storm stepped up to the challenge by playing two Division 2 teams--TEYSA Wildkickers and Concord Sonics.  The Storm defeated both teams 1-0 in two very exciting and well played games by both teams.  The Storm finished 2-1 on the day finishing with a well deserved first place finish.  The Storm started the 2009-2010 with a tournament win and ended the year with a tournament win...Great job Storm!  Good luck in the 2010-2011 season.
