2011 Tryout Schedule

The Lionville Soccer Club, under the umbrella of the Lionville Youth Association - LYA, will be holding tryouts starting April, 2011. These teams are seeking talented soccer players who would like to play in a highly competitive environment. Tryouts for these teams are open to all boys and girls in the Downingtown Area School District, with allowance for talented outside DASD players on each team. Contact the coaches listed below for additional information. Shin guards are mandatory, and you should bring a soccer ball and water bottle. Tryout registration form is linked below. Please fill out and bring with you to your first tryout. Be sure to mark your calendars and tell your friends.

If your child plans on attending a tryout, please contact the coach so that the tryout can be planned accordingly.

In the event of inclement weather, please check back on this site and contact the appropriate coach for updates.

All tryouts are being held at Martin's Farm Park and Eagleview

Directions to Eagleview:

From Intersection of Route 476 & Route 76:
Take 76W to the PA Turnpike
Take PA Turnpike 1 exit to Exit #312 (old Exit #23)
After going through the tolls take Route 100N
At the first light (intersection of Route 100 and Eagleview Blvd) you'll need to make a left.  To do this you'll need to be in the right lane, go through the light and take the jug-handle to cross Route 100.
Once on Eagleview Blvd.  Make your 2nd right onto Pennsylvania Dr.
Make your first left onto Rice Blvd.
After passing the YMCA you'll make a left onto Wharton Blvd (big green electrical box to your left on the corner)
Field is on your right 1/4 - 1/2 mile down the road.  You'll see a playground and parking lot entrance is right after the playground.

From Intersection of Route 30 & Route 100:
Take 30W to Route 100N
Take Route 100N past the Turnpike entrance
At the first light (intersection of Route 100 and Eagleview Blvd) you'll need to make a left.  To do this you'll need to be in the right lane, go through the light and take the jug-handle to cross Route 100.
Once on Eagleview Blvd.  Make your 2nd right onto Pennsylvania Dr.
Make your first left onto Rice Blvd.
After passing the YMCA you'll make a left onto Wharton Blvd (big green electrical box to your left on the corner)
Field is on your right 1/4 - 1/2 mile down the road.  You'll see a playground and parking lot entrance is right after the playground.

Attendance at all three tryouts is NOT mandatory, however, players who are able to attend as many tryout sessions as possible will get more visibility to the coaches evaluating.

Martin's Farm Park
