Tryout Schedule
The Lionville Soccer Club, under the umbrella of the Lionville
Youth Association - LYA, will be holding tryouts starting April
19, 2008 at Martin's Farm Park (directions below) for travel
soccer teams playing this fall. These teams are seeking talented
soccer players who would like to play in a very competitive environment.
Tryouts for these teams are open to all boys and girls in the Downingtown
Area School District, with allowance for a few outside DASD. Contact the
coaches listed below for additional information. Shin guards are mandatory,
and you should bring a soccer ball and water bottle. Tryout registration
form is linked below. Please fill out and bring with you to your first
tryout. Be sure to mark your calendars and tell your friends.
In the event of inclement weather, please check back on this site and contact the appropriate coach for updates.
Martin's Farm Park: from Rte 113 heading towards Downingtown, turn RIGHT onto Devon Drive. Rossi's Golf will be on your right. Follow Devon Drive to Deep Willow Dr and turn RIGHT. Follow one stop sign to Laurel Moors and turn LEFT. About half way around the circle will be the park entrance on the LEFT. The entrance is between two houses. Martin's Farm Park is at the bottom of the hill.
